You never pay the seller and hope. yen.bio holds the name for you while you pay, reads both payments from the blockchain, and moves the name to your account the moment they confirm. If anything doesn’t add up, the checkout goes to staff instead of disappearing.
The seller gets 80%, sent by you straight to their wallet. yen.bio’s 20% fee is a second, separate payment. Nobody, including us, ever holds your funds.
A username: an alias that points at your page, which you can make your main @ any time from Settings. A template: the right to apply that design to your own page, as often as you like.
No. A name is held for one buyer at a time while they pay; everyone else sees it as “in checkout” until that ends.
