The editor

The four steps of the editor, the live preview, and what each panel controls.

Where: Dashboard → Editor

The editor has a menu on the left and a live preview on the right. On a phone, the preview opens with the Preview button at the top. Every change shows in the preview instantly, but nothing changes on your real page until you publish.

The preview

  • Switch between the phone and desktop preview with the buttons above it. Some settings only show on one of them (for example the cursor effects and page spotlight are desktop only).
  • The dot in the top-left corner is amber while you have unpublished changes and green when everything is live.
  • With Unlock positioning on (Your look → Fine tune), you drag items around inside the preview. Positions are saved separately for the phone and desktop preview. See Freeform positioning.
