Display name

Up to 64 characters

The big name on your page. Empty means your @username is used. Terminal always shows your @username instead.

Custom Page Title

The text in the browser tab. Empty means your display name. On Old Web it also becomes the scrolling banner.

Biography

Up to 500 characters

Line breaks are kept. Type @name to mention another yen.bio page.

Pronouns

Up to 32 characters

Shown on most layouts. After Dark and Desktop 98 don’t show pronouns.

Shown on every layout. Bento shows “The internet” when it’s empty.

Show join date

The month you joined (“Since Mar 2025”). Panel words it as “Joined 2 years ago”. After Dark and Spotlight don’t show it.

Show Yen.bio badge

Default: On

A small yen.bio pill at the bottom of your page. It moves to the top when the music player is at the bottom center.

@mentions

When your bio contains @someone and that’s a real, published yen.bio page, it turns into a small link with their picture. Handles that don’t exist stay as plain text. Up to 25 different mentions per bio are looked up. Email addresses are left alone.

Alternate bio lines

Up to 6 extra lines (220 characters each). With Bio effect set to typewriter, your page types your bio, deletes it, types the next line, and keeps cycling. Your bio always plays first.
