Layouts
All nine layouts, what makes each one different, and which settings each ignores.
Where: Your look → Page layout
A layout decides how everything on your page is arranged. Switching layouts never touches your content: your name, bio, links and music stay exactly as they are. Your colors carry over too, but each layout reads only some of the design settings. The Compatibility table lists every setting against every layout.
Identity
A glass card with a slowly spinning accent border and a light that follows the cursor, with your links stacked below it. It’s the default, and it uses the most settings of any layout: text alignment, content width, element spacing, every picture setting, every link and button setting, and the music player Inside the card.
- Join date, pronouns and location show as small chips under your bio.
- Supports Freeform positioning.
After Dark
A holographic card that tilts toward the mouse in 3D, with foil and glare, a neon under-glow in your two accent colors, and your links inside the card. Your badges sit on the same line as your name and glow.
- Content width stops at 640px, and the picture has a fixed size (92–120px), so Size and Border in the picture settings are ignored.
- Left aligned text puts the picture beside your name on desktop. Phones are always centered.
- Shows your location and view count at the bottom. Pronouns and join date aren’t shown.
- Titled links are compact rows; link Height and Radius aren’t used. Icon-only links always use Icon link size.
- Turn the tilt off with Disable 3D Tilt. See 3D tilt.
Spotlight
A stage light from above, orbit rings around your picture and a very large name. There’s no card: everything floats on the background.
- The only layout where the order of your name, picture, badges, bio and view count follows the order in Your links → Reorder or hide. Every other layout places those in fixed spots.
- Always centered. Titled links are pill-shaped, so link Radius is ignored but Height works.
- Shows @username, pronouns and location under your name. No join date.
- Freeform positioning isn’t available.
Bento
A grid of tiles: a big identity tile, a view-count tile in your accent colors, a live clock, a “Based in” tile with your location, then one tile per link or block. Icon-only links become small square tiles; YouTube and Spotify embeds span the full width.
- Always about 1024px wide (Content width is ignored). The picture has a fixed size and takes its corner shape from Corner radius, so Shape, Size and Border are ignored. Glow works.
- Link tiles use your button colors and hover effect, but not Height, Radius or Icon style.
- Hiding the view count shows “—” in its tile. Hiding Details removes the “Based in” tile.
- If you haven’t set a location, the tile says “The internet”.
Editorial
A magazine cover: masthead, your name in huge serif type, a scrolling ticker of your link names, a black-and-white portrait that turns color on hover, a drop-cap bio and your links as a numbered contents list (“In this issue”).
- Your name always uses the display serif, unless you choose a Name font in Custom fonts. Body text uses your page font.
- The portrait is a 4:5 photo, so none of the picture settings, avatar decorations or avatar motion apply.
- Links have their own style; button settings and icon settings aren’t used.
Terminal
A CRT screen that boots up line by line, runs neofetch with your details, then lists your links like files (ls -l ~/links). Every other block gets its own command.
- It shows your @username as the title, not your display name. Name effects apply to it.
- Always monospace: your font family and custom page font are ignored. A custom Name font still applies.
- Badges are listed as words. Links always come first, then your other blocks, whatever order you set.
- Live Spotify, Discord status and wallets show as one line of text.
- Visitors who prefer reduced motion see the whole screen at once, without typing.
Desktop 98
Your own little operating system: desktop icons for your links, a Profile.exe window you can move, minimise and maximise, a taskbar with a working Start menu, and a clock.
- Its window colors come from your accents (a white accent becomes classic navy). Text stays black on grey, so most color, card, font, button and picture settings don’t apply.
- The click-to-enter screen becomes a full retro boot with a log-on box. Its style settings are ignored; Hide my avatar on this screen still works.
- Badges show as small raised buttons with their names.
Old Web
A mid-2000s social profile: “Contacting” box, details table, scrolling banner, an About me box, a badge grid, Top 8 energy and a green hit counter.
- Uses Verdana everywhere. Colors come from your palette: Accent and Accent 2 for the box headers (white becomes the classic blue and orange), Card for the page and Muted for highlights.
- Your Custom Page Title becomes the scrolling banner.
- Extra sections show as boxes in the right column. Their style, image position and minimum height are ignored.
- Freeform positioning works for your name and picture only.
- Your bio shows twice: as a quote in the sidebar (plain) and in About me (with your bio effect and @mentions).
Panel
A wide outlined card. Your picture, name and badges sit on top, Discord status and Roblox cards line up side by side in the middle, then your other links and icons, then your view count and location in large type.
- Always left aligned. Join date shows as “Joined 2 years ago”.
- Tilts gently toward the mouse (half as much as After Dark).
- Discord status and Roblox blocks are pulled into the side-by-side row, whatever their position in your list.
- Picture: Shape and Size work (it shrinks on phones); Border and Glow don’t.
