Name and bio effects

All 19 text effects, name color, gradient color, name size and case, and the sliders that control them.

Name effect

Default: none

An effect on your display name (on Terminal, your @username).

Works on: Every layout

Name color

Default: Your Accent

The color of your name, with or without an effect. Reset makes it follow your Accent again.

Works on: Every layout

Gradient second color

Default: Accent 2

Only appears when Name effect is gradient: the color your name blends into.

Works on: Every layout

Name size

60–180%

Default: 100%

Scales your name on every layout.

Works on: Every layout

Name case

As typed, UPPERCASE, lowercase

Default: As typed

Changes how your name is displayed, not what it is.

Works on: Every layout

Bio effect

Default: none

The same effects, on your bio. Typewriter can cycle through alternate bio lines.

The effects

shimmer	A band of light sweeps across the text
chrome	Polished metal
holo	Shifting holographic colors
fire	Flickering flames
gradient	Your name color flowing into the gradient second color
rainbow	The full rainbow, sliding across (ignores Name color)
glitch	Digital tearing with offset copies
cyber	A sci-fi glitch with scan bars
flicker	A sign that’s about to go out
static	TV-static noise inside the letters
wave	Each letter bobs in turn
sparkles	Twinkling stars over the text
aurora	Northern-lights colors drifting through the text
outline	Hollow letters
chromatic	Red and blue split edges
pulse	Gently breathes brighter and dimmer
typewriter	Typed out letter by letter

Text effects have no sliders of their own. They borrow two from elsewhere in Extras → Effects:

Intensity (under Ambient effects) sets the strength of text effects too, not only the background effect.
Animation speed (under Motion) sets how fast text effects move. Lower is slower.

Name, bio and details

Display name, page title, browser tab, bio, @mentions, alternate bio lines, pronouns, location and join date.

Background effects

Particles, stars, snow, rain, fireflies, matrix, aurora, nebula and grid.

Settings that conflict

Every combination of settings that cancels out, needs something else, or overrides another setting.
