Troubleshooting

The editor saves a draft. Press Publish. If you did, refresh your page; a browser extension or an old tab can hold the previous version.

Your layout probably doesn’t use it. Check the Compatibility table. If you just picked Panel, it changed some of your settings for you. Also check Settings that conflict.

Browsers block sound until the visitor taps. Turn on the click-to-enter screen and Autoplay after entry. If the player shows but nothing plays, the link isn’t a direct audio file; upload the MP3 instead.

The audio is linked from a site that blocks analysis. Upload the file to yen.bio. With Mute button only, set visualizer placement to Background.

Set Bio effect to none, and check the person has a published page with that exact name.

They only play with Bio effect typewriter.

Join the Lanyard Discord server with the same account, and make sure you pasted your numeric user ID (Developer Mode → Copy User ID). See Discord status.

Connect Spotify to Discord and turn on “Display Spotify as your status”. Private sessions aren’t shared.

“Inside the card” only works on Identity, After Dark and Panel, and only with Controls set to Full player.

They only show with a mouse, not on phones. Custom cursors over 128px are ignored by browsers; 32×32 is safest.

Only After Dark and Panel tilt. It’s off on touch screens, with reduced motion, with Disable 3D Tilt, and while Unlock positioning is on.

Turn on Unlock positioning in Fine tune, and use Identity, After Dark or Panel. Drag inside the editor preview, and arrange the phone and desktop preview separately.

Editorial, Terminal, Desktop 98 and Old Web draw your picture their own way. On After Dark and Bento the size is fixed. See Profile picture.

Turn on Play video sound and the click-to-enter screen. Sound can only start after the visitor taps.

Set Switch to it to something other than Never first.

The invite expired. Create one with Expire after: Never and paste it again.

It’s on a list of known phishing or malware pages. If you think that’s wrong, tell us in Discord.

Each person can have one account. If you already have one, sign in to it. Turn off any VPN, proxy or Tor, use a real email address, and make sure cookies and JavaScript are on. If someone you live with is blocked, contact us. For a second page, use an Extra account code. See One account per person.

Paste the transaction ID on the checkout page. If the amount, coin or time didn’t match, it goes to staff review. Send us the checkout link in Discord.
